Who we are
This website, nexar.ae, is operated by Nexar Technical Services Contracting Co. LLC, trading as Nexar Group, P.O. Box 75564, Dubai, United Arab Emirates (“Nexar”, “we”, “us”). For any question about your personal data, email info@nexar.ae or call +971 4 269 4026.
We handle personal data in line with the UAE Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021 on the Protection of Personal Data and other applicable laws of the United Arab Emirates.
What we collect
When you send a project enquiry: your name, company (optional), phone number, email address, emirate, the service you need and the details you write about your project. If you used one of our cost estimators first, we also receive the estimate summary.
When you request our company profile or project references: your name, email address, and optionally your phone number, company and the divisions you are interested in.
When you apply for a job: your name, email address, phone number, the role you are applying for, your years of experience, your message and your CV.
When you browse the website: our servers and security services process technical data such as your IP address, browser type and the pages you request, to deliver the website and protect it from abuse. Our forms use Cloudflare Turnstile to check that a person, not an automated program, is submitting them.
If you accept analytics cookies: Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity record how the website is used, such as pages visited, time on page, device type, approximate location and, in the case of Clarity, recordings of mouse movements and scrolling. Text you type into our forms is masked and never recorded. If you decline, neither tool is loaded.
We also record when you gave consent and which version of our consent text you agreed to.
Why we use it
- To answer your enquiry, prepare a quotation and arrange a site visit, at your request.
- To send you the company profile or project references you asked for, and to follow up on that request.
- To consider your job application.
- To keep the website secure and working.
- With your consent, to understand how the website is used and improve it.
We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use it for advertising.
Who we share it with
We share personal data only with the service providers that help us run the website and handle your request, under agreements that require them to protect it:
- Microsoft (Microsoft 365), which delivers form submissions to our team by email.
- Cloudflare, which hosts and protects the website and provides Turnstile.
- Google (Google Analytics) and Microsoft (Clarity), only if you accept analytics cookies.
- Our customer relationship management provider, Zoho, once our enquiry system is connected to it.
We may also disclose personal data where UAE law requires it.
Transfers outside the UAE
Some of these providers process data on servers outside the United Arab Emirates. Where this happens, we rely on the safeguards the providers offer and on the conditions permitted under UAE law.
How long we keep it
- Enquiries and profile or reference requests: up to three years after our last contact with you, unless a contract follows, in which case we keep them for the period required by law.
- Job applications: up to twelve months after the role is filled. If you would like us to keep your CV on file for future roles, tell us and we will keep it for up to two years.
- Google Analytics data: fourteen months.
- Microsoft Clarity data: for the period set by Microsoft for Clarity.
- Security logs: for a short period, normally no longer than ninety days.
Your rights
Subject to UAE law, you can ask us to:
- tell you what personal data we hold about you and give you a copy;
- correct personal data that is inaccurate or incomplete;
- delete your personal data;
- restrict or stop certain uses of it;
- transfer it to another organisation where this applies.
You can withdraw your consent at any time. For analytics, use “Cookie settings” at the bottom of any page. For anything else, email info@nexar.ae. We will reply within the period the law requires. If you are not satisfied with our reply, you can contact the UAE Data Office.
Cookies and similar storage
The website stores your cookie choice in your browser so we do not ask again on every page. Analytics cookies from Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity are set only after you accept them. You can change your choice at any time through “Cookie settings”.
Security
We use encrypted connections, access controls and protected service providers to keep your data safe. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect the information you give us.
Children
This website is not directed at anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect their personal data.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. The date at the top shows when it last changed.
