Ten Spinneys supermarkets and The Kitchen by Spinneys at Dubai Mall, floored overnight while every one of them kept trading.
The brief
Hard-wearing, hygienic floors for grocery and food-service environments, across stores in Dubai and Abu Dhabi.
The constraint
The stores could not close. Every square metre had to be laid inside the overnight window and ready for customers by morning.
The approach
Epoxy, PU and MMA systems were specified zone by zone against footfall, hygiene and wear. At Dubai Mall, fast-cure MMA suited the food-service floor and the short possession window.
The result
The programme was delivered in phases with the shop floor open as normal each day.
