What affects the specification.
Every floor is specified after a site inspection. These are the things we check before we confirm a system and a rate.
- Substrate conditionThe state of the surface the system will be laid on.
- PreparationThe work the surface needs before the system goes down.
- System thicknessSet against the wear the floor has to take.
- TrafficFootfall, trolleys, vehicles and forklifts.
- Chemical and temperature exposureSpills, cleaning chemicals, heat and cold in daily use.
- Possession windowHow long the area can be handed over, for example overnight between trading days.

What do repair and strengthening cover?
Crack, curtain and grid injection, honeycomb repair, structural repair, surface restoration and joint repair, using engineered repair mortars and resin injection systems. Strengthening covers microconcrete and steel jacketing, carbon fibre and shotcrete.
Who carries out the work?
Our own crews. Nexar keeps its specialist trades on its payroll, with no subcontracted workmanship.
